About: This network visualization maps out the relationship between attendees at 1 Million Cups and other local events/programs with which they are associated. The event that most people have in common, Startup Weekend, sits at the center of the map. The remaining organizations spiral out in rank order, with both size and radii from the center of the map proportional to how many people listed an association with it. The colored squares and circles each represent an individual, and the size is proportional to how many organizations that individual listed. The location of each individual on the map is determined by the average coordinates of the organizations to which they're connected.
