Welcome
A world-class opportunity awaits U.S. graduates with innovative ideas wanting to pursue entrepreneurship. The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (EMKF) 2013 class of Global Scholars Program will include up to 10 U.S. recent graduates who will join Scholars from around the world to learn and network with an international group of fellow aspiring entrepreneurs.
When completing the Kauffman Global Scholars Program's application, you will want to provide evidence of your entrepreneurial aspirations, the innovative nature of your idea(s), and your interest in joining the Global Scholars Program. Before you begin, please thoroughly review the Program fact sheet, FAQs, and terms and conditions located in the links to the left of this web page. At end of this online application, you will be asked to submit a resume and academic transcripts (including evidence of enrollment or degree from a university in the United States).
In addition to filling out the application, please request two letters of recommendation. One letter should be from someone familiar with your academic background and accomplishments; the other should be from someone who can also speak to your entrepreneurial qualities. These recommendations should address your suitability for an experience with an international group, your academic and leadership skills, the extent of your energy and commitment to entrepreneurship, and your potential to execute your idea. The recommenders must submit their letters (on their letterhead as an attached Word or PDF file) directly to globalscholars@kauffman.org. Recommendations may also be sent via conventional mail to:
