Steve was the founding venture capital investor in Kana Software, Hotmail, Interwoven, and Lightwave Microsystems, and led the firm's investments in Tradex and Cyras. He is also leading activities in pioneering companies in nanotechnology and molecular electronics. Previously, Steve was an R&D Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, where seven of his communications chip designs were fabricated. He has also worked in product marketing at Apple and NeXT Software. Steve holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Stanford University.

Ed Nwokedi owns and operates City Garage, a collision repair service with of six San Francisco Bay Area locations. In 1998, he co-founded Carstation.com, a business-to-business automotive web site that sells automotive crash parts to the collision repair industry. In 1999 Ed co-founded UrbanEvents.com a web site that uses new ticket reservation technology, delivered via the web and wireless devices, to significantly increase admission revenue and reduce event-marketing costs by delivering a suite of box-office services to event planners. Ed is a graduate from the University of Michigan with a major in business, and received his MBA from Saint Mary's College. On August 2000, he was selected to represent the San Francisco Chapter of Young Entrepreneurs Organization to serve on the National Advisory Board of The Kauffman Entrepreneurial Center that manages a $200 million fund to support entrepreneurial growth.

Three Guineas Fund is a public grant making foundation incorporated in 1994. This California foundation's mission is to create access to opportunity for women and girls in education and the economy. Recently the fund launched the Women's Technology Cluster (WTC), a San Francisco industry focused incubator for women-led start up businesses in information technology. Catherine has held vice president and officer positions in leading Silicon Valley companies in the computer networking industry.
