About This Chart

To promote transparency, as well as to have fun with playing with the data, we present an interactive chart with all the data we used in the analysis. We list the eight variables in the paper. The size of the bubble in the chart represents the size of population by default, with data from the paper along the horizontal and vertical axes. You can change how the chart displays by tweaking different variables settings. (Note: Although the year lists 2009 beneath the horizontal axis, the data are actually a moving average, for instance, of 2008, 2009, and 2010, as explained in Table 1 in our paper).
