About the Kauffman Foundation
The Kauffman Foundation is committed to supporting clean energy entrepreneurs who are pushing forward new ideas that have the potential to have profound market impacts, create jobs, grow our economy and enhance national competitiveness. The Kauffman Foundation partnered with the White House Office of Social Innovation, the White House National Economic Council, the White House Office of Public Engagement and the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy to hold a national meeting on energy innovation networks in Washington, DC on May 7, 2010. This national meeting generated a set of recommendations that will be discussed in regional meetings in Omaha and Scottsdale.
